Silver Factory Moves to Syracuse, NY

The Silver Factory has moved to Syracuse, NY. from Cleveland, OH.  The move will bring the organization closer to Light Work, the nonprofit The Silver Factory was modeled after. This will enhance both organizations with the ability assist each other in the areas where the other may need a hand. In March, The Silver Factory made available the equipment and chemistry for a visiting artist from England who was participating in Light Work's artist residency program.

We will be looking for new studio space for artists but the darkroom and work areas are setup and running. The library and print collection are available for viewing as well. We are in need of volunteers who would like to help get The Silver Factory up and running here in Syracuse. Email to Vinocox@aol.com

We are teaming up with Limestone Liquors to have wine tastings with our photography exhibits. All who are interested in being on our mailing list should email their information to us. Include your email and mailing addresses with a phone number. Send your email to Vinocox@aol.com

We would like to welcome and thank Samantha Corn of Kodak. She will be working with us as Kodak continues to support The Silver Factory. Kodak has given materials and support to The Silver Factory since its creation as a nonprofit.  We will continue to encourage artists to work with traditional photographic materials as many historical processes are being revived along with the silver based processes.
